Job description

As a skilled Vue.js developer at Flexpedia, you will be an integral part of our Agile team, contributing to the creation of exceptional digital products and services. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about pushing our boundaries of Vue.js development. You get the upportunity to actively guide our front-end team, nurturing their growth and knowledge in Vue.js.

Flexpedia is committed to delivering services that exceed our clients’ expectations. Our online payroll platform has been continuously evolving over the past year and now we are ready to introduce our own product, Paydia (2.1), a cutting-edge payroll software. As a rapidly growing company, we are constantly expanding our digital platform to provide innovative services.

Located in the vibrant city of Haarlem, our team embodies a youthful and dynamic spirit. Our office culture fosters a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We come together every Friday for enjoyable team lunches and afternoon drinks, and we frequently organize social events. In addition, we have various recreational amenities, including a football table, arcade games, and a dartboard, for those who enjoy some friendly competition. Our team consists of around 50 individuals, including our 9 development superheroes.

Your responsibilities

 

  • Developing and implementing user interfaces using Vue.js framework.
  • Collaborating with our Product Owner, Lead Developer and Backend Developers to translate design concepts into functional and interactive web applications.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript.
  • Unit Testing
  • Scrum meetings (Daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, Sprint review and Sprint retrospective)

Key skills

 

  • Proficiency in Vue.js, including its core concepts, component-based architecture, and Vue ecosystem.
  • Ability and will to assist and guide other Developers.
  • Expertise in TypeScript, including its syntax, type annotations, and integration with Vue.js.
  • Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to tackle complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
  • Project experience with Vue.js applications, highlighting size, complexity, challenges faced, and how you overcame them.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript best practices, such as interfaces, type annotations, generics, and writing maintainable code.
  • Understanding of software development principles, including Git for version control, code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Full-stack development experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Express.js, and databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Base salary depending on experience and skillset (€4.800 – €5.500 based on fulltime)

Ons ambitieuze team groeit en bestaat nu uit 45 Flexpediaanse superhelden die opereren vanuit de Hijskranenfabriek aan de Hendrik Figeeweg. We werken dus direct aan het Spaarne en vlakbij stadsstrand de Oerkap en de nieuwe hotspot Mooie Boules in Haarlem. Er wordt hard gewerkt maar er is altijd ruimte voor lol en fun, gezellige teamactiviteiten, borrels en bedrijfsuitjes!
